Standing over one thousand
metres
high, it apparently comprises a 22 million year old volcanic
plug, and the walls of the caldera are what remain of its slopes
according to geologists.
Recently 'World Heritage' listed
by UNESCO and surrounded by a National Park, the mountain's tip
remains
the first place in Australia to receive the brilliant rays of the
morning sun.
The Murbah.Com.Au live webcam is situated 16km
(10 miles) North-east of Mount Warning.
